Winter Challenge

For those interested in entering this years Winter Challenge here are the full details of what it entails:

  • It runs for the month of July only
  • Anyone can enter the challenge, Group Members, Personal Training clients and non-members alike
  • Set yourself one SMART (specific, measurable, attainable, relevant & time-bound) Goal to achieve for the month
  • The trainer will do weekly checks on your goals to see how you are going and there are no surprises at the end of the month (weigh in’s, measurements, fitness tests, etc etc…)
  • The trainer will set weekly challenges for members to complete, if completed members will receive a reward in return
  • Each Saturday group session during the challenge will be held at a different location to offer up variety and a new challenge
  • All members who enter will receive a Basic Training shirt or singlet – which ever they select
  • At the end of the challenge there will be a BBQ held to discuss how everyone went in relation to their goals, with rewards for those that achieved what they set out to do

My passion for sport and fitness goes all the way back to when I was just six and started playing League for my local footy club. Since then it has continued to grow, as I pursued a professional career with the Penrith Panthers (until 2007) and more recently, began competing in CrossFit competitions. Exercise and training have become second nature to me, so turning to a career in Personal Training was an easy decision. It allows me to extend what I do in my own time to a full time job and to use my passion to motivate and encourage others. Since becoming a trainer in 2009 I have worked with (and learnt so much from) companies such as Vision PT and Virgin Active health clubs!
